Fibroscan

It is a device or technique for measuring the degree of cirrhosis of the liver that does not need to take a sample and there is no fear of bleeding or pain, the idea of the Vibroscan device is based on measuring the degree of stiffness of the liver tissue as the fibrous tissue is more solid than the normal tissue, and thus the degree of fibrosis can be determined by waves It is sent from the device through the liver cells and according to the speed of its passage through the liver tissue, the degree of stiffness of the liver tissue is calculated and thus the degree of cirrhosis can be measured and expressed in kilopascals. This test is known as a fibroscan or transient elastography.
