Career Objective

             I am marwa to begin a career in laboratory specialist. I am a postgraduate who combined studies with working and other commitments. In achieving this, I have shown myself to be self-motivated, committed and determined in achieving my goals, come what may. I have also demonstrated negotiating and organizing skills, a firm sense of responsibility and my capacity to work hard under pressure. I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and am able to relate to a wide range of people, as proven by my varied work experiences: in retail, catering, hospitality work, teaching and patient care.

• In PHD degree in Ain shams University by title:

Biochemical and ultra-structural studies on the effect of human mesenchymal stem cells on hepatoma cell line (HUH 7). (Class: 6/2013)  

• Master in (cell, histology and Genetic engineering) in Cairo University by title:

 (Evaluating the mutation rate in nuclear and mitochondrial DNA in blood cells of hepatitis C virus Egyptian patients).

• From 2003 until now work as laboratory specialist of molecular biology unit and tissue culture unit in MRC Faculty of medicine.
• Work as medical representive in egypharma from 2/2006 to 15/1/2008.

Practical skills gained during my work

• Preparation and identification of ucleic acids, protein isolation and separation by gel filtration, molecular modelling and computer analysis of kinetic data. Use of a haemocytometer, microscopic investigation, aseptic technique and bacterial isolation and cultivation.
• Well versed in sterile microbiological techniques allowing for the maintenance and growth of bacterial and yeast cell cultures, UV mutagenesis, agarose gel electrophoresis ,polyacramide gel electrophoresis ,single strand conformational polymorphism (SSCP), DNA and RNA extraction and spectrophotometry , polymerase chain reaction (PCR ) and real time PCR.
• Isolation of stem cells from Bone marrow blood, umbilical cord blood and adipose tissues, mentainance and proliferation of mesenchymal of stem cells.
• Differentiation of raw stem cells into several types of cells according to growth factor e.g fat cells, Osteoblasts and nerve cells.
• Prolification of cell lines and use it as vitro model of treatment and MTT assay, staining of several type of cells and counting cultured cells.
• Work as trainer in practical and theoretical courses in molecular and culture lab.
